   Everyone was so nice and polite, I loved the experience because of the very welcoming atmosphere and staff! The food was great (I love oysters 😊) and since I celebrated my anniversary they supplied a drink to celebrate!

   The salad came out last. We had 5 items. When I asked them to slow down and bring them out -not all ay once-they told me that wasn’t possible.

   We enjoyed our evening out at Departure. We ordered the wings , which were delicious, the fried rice, which was very good, and the Burmese salad which was a nice healthy addition i also ordered the three course tasting menu. The oysters were meh, but the beef cheek dish with noodles, for me, was the star of the evening. We were comped for dessert and were offered champagne for our anniversary. At first the service was very slow, but when we asked where our food was, it started coming out with reasonable pauses. Our server Jesse was very nice and attentive. We thoroughly. Enjoyed our evening. Nice way to celebrate our 55 th anniversary’..

   This place was amazing. Food was top notch. We had great service and good atmosphere, great view. Wish the deck was open but it was still a very nice experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

   Restaurant was really good. Service was great. Food was great. I paid for valet service. It was $40. When my car was brought to me at the end, the valet guy came speeding around the block like he was racing someone then screeched to a stop. When I got in my car, I noticed my nice sunglasses were on the floor and had been stepped on and were broken. After spending $800 on a meal, this was really frustrating. Unfortunately, because of the valet experience, I won’t be back. It’s a shame. I’ve been recommending this place to visitors for years.

   The food is excellent! 5 stars for the creativity, flavors and presention to the Chefs. Lots of areas of improvments for the waiting staff and management. They are not ready to handle a restaurant lilke this. My salmon entrée did not have any sides (it was just a salmon fillet) and they did not recommend a side or confirm that the guests are aware. They did not bring courses in order or all entrées at the same time for the table. Did not check for the secound round of drinks until we almost finished our entrees. Our waitress was a nice person and these might be small things, but they are expectend in a fine dining place. NYE announcement was very confusing. It did not say that you need to book separately for the party. A person at the reception made it sound like I am stupid to not have read it properly. I openend the webpage and made her read to acknowledge. The other person was more understanding and acknowledged that it was not a clear announcement and there have been more complaints about it. Overall, our NYE sucked! (still loved the food all courses - salad, entrees and desserts!) I hope they improve the service. I would hate to not go here again

   Poor experience. After awhile of waiting we realized we didn’t have a waiter. Eventually they found someone to cover but it was just disorganised, forgotten drinks and food, and no birthday celebration.

   I rarely do this, but I felt compelled to comment after our experience last night. I want to preface my remarks by saying first that we are extremely low maintenance customers. I understand how incredibly busy restaurants can be & how difficult the job of server is, but the level of service we got at the restaurant was simply unacceptable. It was my wife’s birthday & I thought it would be fun to take her & our two teens (15 & 13) to their Dec Peking Duck dinner. When making the rez online there is a section that asks if we were celebrating anything. I checked that we were celebrating a birthday. When we arrived about 10 min early they were able to seat us right away which was nice. However, the table they sat us at wasn’t that great which I thought was a little strange since we were there for a special occasion, but I didn’t really give it a lot of thought. When you do the Peking Duck dinner you order it & pay in advance ($85 a person). In addition to our 3 course duck dinner we ordered several sushi apps & several cocktails & “mocktails” for the table. Before gratuity this was an all-in $600 meal. It was really the little things that were never done. After our apps, before our entree, they never cleared our plates to give us fresh ones for our meal. They never wiped the table. They left things on the table like the soy sauce & empty broth cups. They didn’t deliver my wife’s 2nd cocktail for 30 min, she had to ask for it again, & when it was delivered there was the throw away comment “sorry, they lost the ticket.” While we were waiting for our desert there was food on the table that needed to be wiped up (rice & things like that that fall on the table with that kind of meal) & it wasn’t until I was doing it myself with my own napkin to make the table a little more orderly that our server said “oh, I’ll get something to do that.” Finally once we had paid the tab our server asked, “isn’t it somebody’s birthday? Guess it’s a little late for a birthday desert, huh? Yeah
