   We have never gone out for dinner on Christmas Day, but this year we were a small group of four, so we decided not to cook and made reservations at Devon’s. Boy, are we glad we did! Their Christmas Prix Fixe menu was wonderful with many great choices. As a table, we had lobster bisque, gumbo, lamb, scallops, sea bass, lamb and filet. All were stunning! It was very busy but service was spot-on, thanks to server extraordinaire, Janet! She really made our evening special and gave great recommendations. Cost for such fine food was really a great value as well. We are definitely going back!

   Christmas evening. Loud. Very busy. For the first time there ever, seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. But we understand. We'll be back.

   Excellent Christmas Day experience. Prompt seating, friendly professional service and delicious food. Restaurant was busy yet noise level not excessive. Well balanced cocktails . Party of six so sampled a wide range of their 3 course holiday menu. All proteins cooked to correct temp, great seasoning, sides delicious and desserts over the top. Well deserved 5 star rating.

   Christmas dinner was spectacular. Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. Tasty drinks. Yummy dinner. Not rushed. Loved every minute. Can't wait to return!

   We found the food to be exceptional and well prepared. The service was attentive, and Johnny our waiter was so knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend Devon.

   Excellent service and choices of food. Service and attention to detail by all the waitstaff was outstanding. Only issue I personally had was I thought the asparagus was way too al dente but that could be just my personal preference. I felt overall there was great value in the meal. The experience. Would def recommend and will ref return

   Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. The food was all perfect (and I am picky). It’s in a strip mall in the suburbs, so my hopes were not high - but we had an absolutely wonderful meal. Thanks to Matilde for taking great care of our group and recognizing my husband’s birthday.

   Service was attentive with multiple staff members ensuring all was well. Menu viewed online was quite different on Christmas Eve, with a particular entree we hoped for missing from the offerings. "Baby Greens" salad was disappointing, with a light sprinkle of feta cheese "dust" and only a few pine nuts hidden in the greens. Crabcake entree and Mediterranean Sea Bass were delicious, but my risotto side, delivered in a little cast iron skillet, arrived cool to the touch. (The replacement was a bit warmer.) Dessert confusion: We both ordered Carrot Cake. Our server came back a few minutes later to say, "Sorry, there isn't any." Then she went to get the dessert menu again and we made alternative choices. Then she came back a few minutes later and said, "Yes, there is Carrot Cake." Judging from how cold it was, I'm guessing they took a cake out of the freezer when staff realized there wasn't any ready for serving. The taste and composition of the cake were good, but it really needed to be closer to room temperature to fully enjoy the flavors. Sound volume gets LOUD when the restaurant is full. For the price of our dinners ($$$$ even with no alcohol), I prefer a calmer, quieter place in order to converse and enjoy a meal.
