Husband and Wife team, Dennis Foy and Estella Quinones, are committed restaurateurs who counterbalance each other’s exacting artistic standards. Estella’s passion for design and Dennis’s interest in painting clearly reflects this sensibility.

The exciting twenty-eight seat restaurant d’floret is a modern elegantly-lit stage, featuring an open kitchen and adjoining dining room that exhibit the chef’s dual passions: Foy’s paintings and culinary mastery. The space is accented by a floor-to- ceiling Black Walnut Nakashima panel, lighting by Ayala Serfaty, the Israeli artist, with Arnie Jacobsen modern Classic chairs, finishing the sleek warm welcoming room.

Please note, due to high demand and limited seating, in addition to online holds we require diners call the restaurant to reconfirm your by 12pm day of, or it will not be honored.

    Excellent French cuisine. The butternut squash soup was magical, the truffle tortellini very light and tender, and the veal chop superb.

    What a find! We had a wonderful dinner at D’ Floret. The entire meal was perfection from start to finish. For starters, we enjoyed the arugula salad and house made tortellini topped with freshly shaved truffle. The salad was perfectly dressed and the tortellini has the perfect balance of both delicate and decadent. Accompanied by warm bread (from Tribeca) and Spanish olive oil, which were were spot on in texture and flavor. For entrees, we opted for the rouget barbet and the bronzini, both perfectly cooked and balanced with delicious sides. Dessert was an amazing white chocolate pot de crème with passion fruit glaze. The service was excellent. The owners are a husband (chef) and wife (server) team, who are both very talented and know how to do it right.

    Took some friends for a Saturday night dinner. It was our first time there. Read thru reviews and liked what we heard. 3 of us ordered the tortellini appetizer and all agreed it was one of the best pasta dishes we ever had. The other ordered the gnocchi, which was good as well. We all ordered different entrees: short rib, scallops, filet mignon, and veal chop. All were very pleased with their meal. For dessert, 3 of us ordered the profiteroles. One of our guests is French and he said it was one of the best he had since coming to the States over 10 years ago. The restaurant is small and tables are close together. But all of the diners seemed very respectful of one another so we were able to have a good conversation over a wonderful meal. The restaurant is BYOB, which is a nice touch. The prices are above average but you get what you pay for. The server made all of the dishes sound fantastic. Credit to her that she did not go through a ton of detail on each item. Her 'highlight' approach was just right to give us a sense of the strength of each item. It was not only me who appreciated that. All of our party commented positively on that.

    Dennis and Estella have never disappoint. We have been coming here for years and are always amazed by the flavors, the selection and the amazing atmosphere that they have created!

    We enjoyed another outstanding dinner at this gem of a restaurant. Always look forward to Chef Foy's specials, and the venison tonight was outstanding. We consider ourselves lucky to be able to continue to experience his passion! EQ and staff were great, as always.
