When you think pasta, local seafood, veal, tira misu and others, DiGiorgio's Cafe Largo is the first to come to mind in Key Largo. The DiGiorgio family emigrated from the cities of San Marino in north Italy and Cassino, outside of Rome. Being in business in South Florida since 1968 we have developed a great following and reputation. In 1990, the DiGiorgio family moved to Key Largo and saw the possibilities of mixing all the varieties of local seafood available with pasta and other dishes. Was seated 15 min late - not a big deal with Fri night and Valentine. But then waited 20 min for our waitress and water. After she took the order of another couple who literally seated less than 5 min. Had the Snapper special - fish overcooked and dried out. Risotto and wife’s dinner was very good.

                                                                                                                                          Valentines Day is hard for restaurants. We had a 5:30 pm reservation and were promptly seated. I was excited to try the signature Guy Fieri Pork Shank and was disappointed as it was dry. My wife’s mutton snapper however was very good. By 7:00 pm this place was slammed so we were glad to have an earlier reservation. Our server from Rhode Island was excellent.

The homemade creamy Italian dressing on our complimentary salad was delicious. My spouse had the veal marsala and said that it was one of the best that he had eaten. I ordered the clam linguine and don't think that I've ever had so many clams in one dish. The wine selection by the glass was quite extensive. Our server, Sandra, was friendly and efficient. A great place for a delicious meal.

The Clam stew very tasty,beef with mashed potatoes was really tasty, chicken soup excellent. Wife really enjoyed the Shrimp Oscar. Well worth a visit.

The menu was extensive and featured several specials. Our table of four all ordered different entrees and we all enjoyed them. The cheesecake for dessert was a delightful finish to our meals.
