Food and service was fantastic, we were lucky enough to be there on a night Kiera was playing, she was fantastic and set the tone beautifully for the restaurant. It was overall a great night and I would highly recommend.

We had 10 people for dinner and everything from the food to the service we received was excellent. We were all stuffed leaving. The staff are all lovely.

Delicious food & great service! We were a table of 7 and each ordered something different - everyone was delighted with their food. I got a roast sharing platter with 1 other person - a good appetite is needed to finish this one, but everything in the dish was spectacular!

It’s Personal at Petronella. We are a relaxed, informal restaurant situated on romantic Butterslip Lane. Petronella is charming, situated over two floors, in one of Kilkenny's oldest and historic buildings - we focus on wonderful Irish food and service - seasonal, delicious, yet joyously casual dining. Gorgeous festive menu. Pate was really nice and smooth. The brioche bread toast needs to be harder and crunchier though. The featherblade beef was absolutely exquisite. So tender and mash with gravy was fantastic. Very fond of the dessert too. Creme Brulee was excellent. Worth every penny

We specialise in serving modern Thai and South East Asian cuisine, along with delicious cocktails, craft beers and wines from around the world. Our style of service is friendly and relaxed as we believe dining out should be a fun and friendly experience. We have an enclosed heated rooftop terrace that comfortably seats up to 30 people all year round and is perfect for birthday bashes and corporate events. We also offer various group menus. We don't charge for room hire once there are a certain amount of people in the private group.
We cater for ceoliacs as we have many gluten-free dishes and desserts as well as a gluten-free beer! We are happy to discuss any dietary requirements you may have

Early Bird runs 4.30 - 6PM Tue-Thu, 4-5.30PM Fri -Sat and 3-5.30PM Sun and costs €27,95. This offer includes an appetiser and main course from our early bird set menu.
