My family and I really enjoyed our dining experience. The service and food was wonderful! The pasta was cooked to perfection and my fish with vegetables was so very wonderful. The ambiance was warm and cozy. Thanks for a great dinner.

This was our first meal in Munich, we had a large group and we are from the United States. What an excellent way to start our visit! The Schnitzel was excellent. The service was quick and friendly. Would easily recommend to any one.

A "hidden gem" is the cozy Tyrolean parlor in the basement of the building, offering an authentic Alpine atmosphere. We offer daily changing lunch menus for the quick business lunch and elaborate menus for the evening - for your business dinner, your get-together with friends and acquaintances, or your very personal private dinner for two. Lunch dishes, both regional and international, are always freshly prepared in a good selection. Our evening menus are occasionally accompanied by live music in spring and autumn. Our lunch at Shimai was absolutely delicious. The chicken wings and special duck buns were amazing as was the miso edamame guacamole. Plus the atmosphere was cozy and quiet, perfect for a Sunday lunch in November. Our server was kind and attentive. We highly recommend this little gem in Munich!

Eines gleich vorweg: Die eine "israelische Küche" gibt es so nicht.

Denn Israel ist ein sehr junges und auch ein sehr kleines Land. Nichtsdestotrotz leben hier Menschen aus über 60 verschiedenen Nationen, welche alle mitsamt die kulinarische Landschaft der lokalen Küche stets prägten. Dies führt auch noch heutzutage zu einer kontinuierlichen kulinarischen Fusion aus Ost und West und Nord und Süd. Und aus diesem "Balagan" (Chaos) resultiert die israelische Küche.

Durch diese kulturelle Vielfalt ist es in Israel auch üblich viele verschiedenen Gerichte à la "family style" untereinander zu teilen.

For 2 people: we had the 5 tapas as starter, best ones were the hummus and the aubergine with tomato, but all were very delicious. As main we has one salmon stake with 4 sides (salad, potato wedges, sweet potato purée, and cuscus), all really delicious. For desert we had the chocolate one and we definitely recommend.
