This is the third incarnation of Wrede’s original Joseph’s Table, conceived in Taos, New Mexico, not quite 20 years ago, for which he is well known and loved within the region and beyond. Joseph’s Culinary Pub is designed to be a platform for Chef Wrede’s unique and uncompromising vision on traditional and contemporary cuisine, both regional and international. We had a great dinner at Joseph's. Although our party of 4 had differing dietary needs, the menu accommodated them all. The meal was delicious and the service superb.

Back to Market Steer for a second dinner and was equally impressed by the quality and consistency of the experience - the venue itself is also extremely beautiful. Every dish was excellent - from the salads, steaks, and the sides. The mac-n-cheese is a do-not- miss side, grilled asparagus was excellent, risotto was very good but got outshone by the other two sides. Wine list by the glass is also solid and the cocktails were well done. From the previous visit I have to also mention the fries especially if you get the aioli dip to go with them. Didn't try dessert after too much dinner but already planning the next special night out to go back.

Food, drinks and service is outstanding. Ambiance is a bit casual for the price level. Would be nice if they considered linen tablecloths, it would make it quieter and more classy. We went on Christmas Eve, was expecting more decorations and festive environment. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we will continue to frequent this place.

Our lunch today was very good. My daughter had the scallops which were cooked perfectly as was the risotto. I had the chicken soup which was lovely. We both celebrated with some " bubbly " -and shared one of Seasons 52's decadent desserts.

The Alaskan cod (butterfish) was terrific and the wedge salad was really good. Unless you have a good appetite the salad is definitely shareable.
