Canopy Wine Lounge is a driving source for wine & community no matter where your palate takes you. To curate this lounge, a partnership formed between longtime Palm Springs local Noah Mamet and the owner of our 15 unique winery properties around the globe. Our decor is a modern take on the popular design of the 1950's, using clean lines, pops of color, and various textured fabrics and fixtures.

To accent our wine bar, we have a custom-built clay amphora where our in-house winemaker will be fermenting and ageing a Californian rosé. Glowing fireplace features highlight our meticulously curated selection of desert plants. Our food bites are meant to be paired with quality-driven wines and lively conversation between friends.

Excellent Wine Bar with small but varied selection of food. Great place to meet people for a quiet get-together to enjoy excellent wine and good food. Kate is a great sommelier who has excellent suggestions! Nice, upscale place. As a local, I appreciate that it is not a typical touristy place filled with large, loud bachelorette parties.

As the former owner of the Adobe Garden Hotel and Irongate Restaurant in Palm Desert, Cunard’s in La Quinta, Robert Cunard’s in Palm Desert, and The Prevue in Rancho Mirage, Robert Cunard’s reputation as a restaurateur is well-established in the Coachella Valley.

He rebuilt the Sandbar, and has remained true to his tradition of quality cuisine and impeccable service.

Robert will pass the Helm of The Sandbar to Waldo Cesoni, a local seasoned Restauranteur who is already serving the Coachella Valley with Waldo’s Ristorante and Backstreet Bistro on El Paseo.

We had a nice dinner and the wine was great! But, I wish you had the sea bass still. That was the best thing on your menu. The other fish you replaced it with isn’t great. We also used to get the beautiful asparagus spears & now you chop them all up now & we won’t ever order them again. Why change things that work!

Al Dente…a staple (Italian restaurant) in Palm Springs for over 20 years. Unfortunately I don’t go downtown too much to eat and haven’t been here since 2010 or so. Went last night for dinner had the Bolognese with Angel Hair pasta…omg! the best!!!! and fyi the staff remembered me after all these years….WOW! My partner and I loved the dining experience - he had the Salmon and loved it! and said we have to make this a regular place again. I agree!

The food, drinks, and service were excellent! The food was high quality, served promptly, and hot! Drinks were amazing and made just the way we like it! The staff made us feel special and exceeded our expectations. They were attentive, friendly and ready to assist.. Special shout out to Marie M. who gave us a positive memorable experience. We highly recommended the restaurant to family members who will be visiting the area over the holidays.

Food was delicious as usual. Two of us had the duck that was cooked to perfection. Two others had liver and sea bass. Both dishes were excellent. The bread and pate brought on our arrival rivals anything I’ve ever had in France. Service was terrific. Highly recommend.
