Welcome to Bocca Italian at Bokarina Beach on the Sunshine Coast! Offering hand stretched pizza, an array of Salumi's, breads and cheeses and fresh pasta's! Exec Chef Harry Lilai (Ex Cecconis Melbourne) and Head Chef Rob Bredhauer (Ex Bianca Brisbane) have created a menu designed for sharing with all the Italian favourites.
Osso Buco, Tiramisu and Polpette with flatbread are our go to's and we of course have a cracking wine list with local, local Italian and imported Italian drops.
Our cocktails are all made by Lauren Thomson, our amazing Bar Manager from Market Bistro, so of course we have the salted caramel espresso martini as well as a heap of Italian inspired spritzes, sours and shaken drinks.
We offer seating inside for 80 including bar and kitchen dining, another 50 outside, and a private room that seats 14.

Good work team every plate was spot on! The scallop and barra ceviche was outstanding and my Wagu main one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Thanks for help making a good date night with my wife!

We were greeted at the door on arrival and seated outside as requested in our online booking. The dinner menu had a good selection from starter to dessert and the food came out in good time. There is a kids menu and we dined with our 11 & 15 year old kids. There was the right amount of lighting and volume in the dining area and we felt relaxed and comfortable. Our waitress looked after us throughout the night as needed. We had a lovely family night and we would definitely dine at Acqua again.

A beautiful setting inside the restaurant as well as the gorgeous outdoor area where a person can view bushland and kangaroos and emus. It's also somehow, very relaxing. There were however, only five options for a main course on the menu. Having said that, what our party had (fish and chips and wagyu hamburgers) were really really delicious followed by a dessert I will never forget as it was amazing and delicious also. The fish was swordfish and pretty special. The service could not be faulted. I would happily return there and can recommend.
