JJ’s Restaurant is a Vancouver institution. Both the kitchen and front of house are run by students who are in their 2nd level of cook training. Enjoy a three-course a la carte lunch which is reasonably priced and produced with the highest level of passion and care by students with the guidance of their Chef Instructors. If you are interested in a group booking please email culinaryarts@vcc.ca.

We went there to celebrate a birthday. It is so nice to go to a place and be able to chat and hear one another. The food and presentation was fantastic.

Welcome to Okeya Kyujiro Our Omakase Experience is a chef’s choice menu consisting of seasonal ingredients mainly sourced from Japan. It includes approximately 25 courses with mostly sushi.

This was phenomenal. I was skeptical when booking about the cost ($325/person), but it was exceptional. The service was superb! The food was insanely good. Makes me wonder what a 3 Michelin star Japanese restaurant is like if this is only a 1!!! I felt they were at least a 2 star!

I have been many times as well as ordered thru Uber eats often & this was the first time we had the group menu .. absolutely delish .. all the faves kept coming to the table .. highly recommend and book a group dinner here.. so great because you can try so much more .. we were 9 and all of the guests mentioned that they can’t wait to go back !

Surprised by the level of service. Food was good! It was one of our group’s birthday and even though we didn’t bring a cake, the staff gave us a little surprise! There was a minor issue with GST but the staff very quickly resolved that! So if the owner of the restaurant needs any accounting advice, feel free to contact one of us, we are more than happy to help in return of your excellent service!
