   We had dinner at Edge for our one year anniversary. Our server Gilbert was awesome, very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Food was amazing, totally worth it. Such a unique experience.

   Steak was not cooked. Had to send it back. Came back and was still under cooked (ordered medium and it was v rare). This is so far below the standard for a restaurant charging $100 for the steak. Manager apologised and they did not charge for the steak but it wrecked the experience for me. Won’t go back.

   We ordered the tasting menu for 125/each. The appetizers were fine and well prepared but the main courses were very disappointing. The Zatar steak was simply inedible. Our waitress was kind enough to warn us not to order the Zatar steak because some people complained it was “chewy”. We assumed she was exaggerating and trying to convince us to go off the tasting menu and order the more expensive Wagyu cuts, so we ignored her suggestion. What a mistake that was! The steak was well beyond chewy and simply inedible. Frankly I couldn’t believe a steak house of this caliber would ever serve this low quality steak, even as the “entry” level steak. The trout entree was ok but a bit on the dry side and without much flavor or anything special. I’m sure there are several excellent dishes on the a la carte menu but I would steer clear of the tasting menu and especially the Zatar steak.

    One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The steak was outrageously good, as was our salads and a magnificent chocolate soufflé for dessert. The staff is knowledgeable and first rate.
