EVO, short for evolution, represents a dream inspired by my mother to bring the familiar feeling of family to you, by showcasing my Italian home-style cooking from the freshest ingredients incorporated into my family’s recipes that have been passed down from many generations. My Sicilian mother and grandparents raised me to respect the heritage and tradition of the Italian culture. The draw of family brought me to south Florida where I opened Evo to continue to share my family’s secret recipes and the warmth of the Italian way of living. Through hard work and perseverance I climbed the ranks of some of the most well respected and popular restaurants in New York so that I can bring you Evo. So please come and join us. Hands down the BEST Italian food in all of Florida We dine here often and the food, service and ambiance are always amazing Now to address one incredible employee Big clap, hats off to Daniel!!! I’ve heard so many good things about this place, but honestly our food was just “okay…” both of our pasta dishes were basically soup. Mine the pasta underdone. The dining room feels really cramped. Our table was so small and just smooshed up against our neighbors. Finally The red wine list is just meh…unless you like California wines. I dont know i hate to be a pessimist it just wasn’t as amazing as I’d hoped.

Evo has been my go-to for special occasions. And as usual the food was excellent. But our table of four had a long wait for order to be taken, and even longer wait for our meals to arrive. I’m hoping this was an exception because of the restaurant being extremely busy.

When visiting the area we always try to eat at Evo! Really good food, ambiance and most of all if you’re a wine person they serve great wine in the best glasses!!!
