   Long time customer. Walked up to The Farm 1pm on a Saturday, place pretty empty. They said they are not taking walk up reservations only online. So, still at entrance, we made an online reservation on OpenTable for 1pm. They wouldn’t serve us, because we were “walk-ups”. Obviously never coming back.

   The service wasn’t too good. He was a nice guy but didn’t see him much. It was 20 Minutes before we got water. Then about 35-40 minutes after we ordered for our food to come. It wasn’t even really busy. The “big red” pizza was delicious with a crisp crust. It was pretty noisy. We were there with friends so we had to speak louder than normal.

   Food has usually been great but this time was eh. Not a huge fan but the restaurant as always was so cute and staff was nice

   Fun cocktail menu, great food, and excellent service made for a wonderful evening. A must go place during every visit to Bloomington!

   Went here for dinner. We had the Brie appetizer and it was very good. Dinner we had linguine with shrimp and the tuna. My tuna was over seasoned with too much pepper that I could not taste my food. I explained to the waiter that my meal was over seasoned and I cannot eat it. He removed the plate, took the item off the bill, did not offer to make me a new tuna, did not give me a menu to order anything else, did not offer me another food option and he just walked away. I was still hungry and I left hungry. My daughter gave me a few shrimp from her meal which tasted pretty good. Very disappointed how our waiter handled the situation.

   Breakfast did not meet our expectations. French fries with our breakfast meal was a bit disappointing. $13.50 for french fries, a piece of bacon and some eggs.

   Sitting in the restaurant was like being in the move “Valentine's Day”. Cute! The service was okay, pleasant but pushing guests through the process to quickly. The food was the most disappointed part. The calamari was over cooked with a burnt oil taste and had way to many Red Pepper flakes making it un-edible. They ran out of LOVE APPLE BISQUE and substituted a butternut bisque with the same basil mousse on top. The basil did not go well with butternut! The sirloin steak (ordered rare to medium-rare) was cooked medium, and way over seasoned. You couldn’t taste the flavor of the meat at all. I really wonder if it was just because it was Valentine's day and they were under to much pressure. I'm still unsure if I would be willing to try it again on a normal day.

   Farm Restaurant booked more customers than they were able to serve well. Hot dishes were not properly hot.

    Farm Bloomington has intriguing decor, great servers, and somewhat variable food. A chicken entree I'd had and very much liked before was a little overcooked this time, and my husband's filet mignon wasn't really well done as he requested (and as the toothpick-label declared). (It was, however, tasty for someone who prefers medium.) The amuse-bouche was very nice, and the chocolale mousse was superb. As the place filled up, it got noisy enough that we had some trouble hearing each other.
