              We sat at the Chef's table for my mom's 80th birthday and Dean Fearing came out himself to chat with us. The service was amazing and the food was incredible. It was a great night.

              We ordered our steaks. Mine was ordered well done and came out, medium rare. It took 20 minutes for somebody to come and even check on the temperatures of the stakes. When they were aware of it, it's out on my plate for another 20 minutes before someone came over and asked if we wanted to fire it Not a good experience

              Big fan of Fearings but our Valentines Day experience was very disappointing. We were seated almost an hour after our reservation time. The restaurant was packed with tables for two with very little space between tables. We got to know the crowd around us when a gentleman at an adjacent table leaned back in his chair and his head bumped my wife. My wife ordered the halibut dish and it was delved extremely over cooked and dry. The waiter was kind enough to replace the dish and take two glasses of wine off the tab. The restaurant vibe was like a banquet at a corporate retreat. Still a fan of Fearings but we will not be going back for a "special event".
