Best Authentic Restaurants in Gates Mills

Fettuccine Alfredo pretty much my favorite dish at Piccolo. Husband enjoyed a creamy pasta dish with shrimp. Will have our leftovers for dinner tonight. Service always excellent. Sitting at a tiny table for two in main dining area very uncomfortable-not enough room for entrees, beverages, including water bottle, and bread. Push these two little tables together. I usually include that we NOT be seated at either of the 2 little tables in my reservation. Temperature in restaurant was very cool-wore my coat the whole time we were dining.

Really great neighborhood gem, and worth the trip from afar. A solid scratch kitchen with friendly familiar service. Don’t miss this one!

We had a wonderful Sunday evening dinner. Our server was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and made several great suggestions. The food was delicious and plentiful-3 of the 4 of us took home boxes. This was our 2nd visit and we’ll definitely be back!

Food was good and value good based an restaurant week menu. Tables a bit tight and close. Noice level high on 2nd floor. Service was excellent.

One of our favorite places to dine. Somehow my seating requests don’t reach the restaurant. This place has 5 old giant barrels for seating from a previous restaurant-very claustrophobic. However our meals were delicious. The staff dealt with quite a few fussy senior citizens and their dietary requests where several entrees were sent back to the kitchen for tweaking. I enjoyed the spaghettini with Alfredo sauce and my husband enjoyed the meatball sub. Get the Alfredo frequent diner card for free dessert or appetizer. Hostess Lynn did a very good job dealing with fussy guests.
