Café Berlin has been serving authentic German cuisine on Capitol Hill since 1985. It occupies the ground floor of three townhouses whose front yards serve as Biergarten for outdoor dining.     We had an amazing experience at Hell’s Kitchen D.C. from the incredibly delicious food, exceptional service, and breathtaking views! Our young adult son, a three time brain tumor survivor, is a Gordan Ramsay super fan. After hearing about his story, the HK Team went above and beyond to make his experience incredibly special and memorable. We were so moved by the staff’s efforts and watching our son, who has been through so much, beam with happiness. We would be remiss without a special shout out to Tonya, who engaged our son in friendly conversation and treated him with kindness, dignity, and respect. We can’t thank you all enough - you are next level professionals and amazing human beings!

    Excellent dinner and service. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Servers were always ready to refill glasses and to bring bread. We could not recommend highly enough! Fantastic ambience!

    One of the best restaurants in DC. Great food, perfect portions, good wine list, and great pacing of the meal. The calamari is fresh and flavorful. We split a Caesar Salad, and it came out on two separate plates, which was nice. I got the Chicken Parmesan, and my wife got a Seafood pasta dish. We both loved our entrees. We ended with an Oreo Cheesecake that was also delicious! The server didn't make eye contact with me at all, only my wife which was weird. Other than that it was an amazing experience!
