The Tavern, with its open hearth Summer Kitchen fireplace, granite walls, and hand-hewn beams, provides a cozy spot for hearty traditional New England fare.     Never a disappointment here. Portions are plentiful, so be sure to consider that when ordering. Otherwise, you’ll be sure to bring food home - and that’s not a bad thing. Service is excellent and I was very glad to see the restaurant so busy on a Saturday evening.

    The restaurant is in the lobby of the Sheraton. Views of the river are pleasant. We went for lunch during restaurant week. Smash hamburgers, stuffed mussels, and bread pudding all delicious. They have a great chef!

    The tavern provided a cozy and unique setting for a dinner out, while visiting my daughter at UNH. It was our first time there, but we will definitely return. The Inn is adorable, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! The proximity to the school was also very convenient. I highly recommend!
