Abacá is an airy, atelier-style restaurant with a cool outdoor terrace, whipping up Filipino-Californian cuisine with flair in Fisherman's Wharf. A truncated list of creative Southeast Asian libations bring it full circle – if you're on the terrace, cool off with the Baguio breeze slushy – a dreamy mix of pandan-infused vodka, coconut and strawberry.

Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields.     Every time we visit San Francisco our first dinner is Fior. It visiting old friends. The level of service never changes from: excellent. The food is always brought to the table prepared perfectly and piping hot. In a city filled with great restaurants, Fior maintains a standard of excellence that is enviable for every other place in the area. See you in Summer!

    As previously dining at the Kokkari was a great experience. Both the "Mezethes" and the entres were well prepared. The grilled whole fish (lavraki) was delicious. If i were to find one shortcoming it would be that the sauce should be more lemony. Also the ravili Greek style were very good with delicious broth. Service attentive and prompt. Great place for lunch or dinner.

    We are San Franciscan’s and love going to an old school classic like Scomas! It was my husband birthday and we always have fish and chips on the coast! So had them for the first time at Scomas!! Delicious!! Not something we would normally order with all the other great offerings! Our server Sunny was outstanding!! As well as all the back up staff working on New Year’s day!! We had a great dining experience! Thank you.

    Fantastic experience dining at Abaca! The food and service were both phenomenal - Keoki especially was an incredible server, he did a great job explaining each dish and making sure our meal was well-paced. A must-visit in SF!

    My husband and I had a delicious brunch at Surisan to celebrate my birthday. I had the iced Ube Latte, and the homemade whipped cream was heavenly. My husband had a lemonade, which he said was really good, and it looked beautiful. The Millionaire bacon is a must order. It is incredible. I loved that it had a little heat and sweetness to it. My husband had an American-styled omelette, but I chose one of the Korean-inspired dishes, a chicken porridge. It was really delicious, especially with the soft-boiled egg mixed in, but I was not a fan of the chicken skin left in the porridge. If it had been crispy skin, that’s one thing, but this was just skin that had fallen off the meat during cooking, I presume. Overall, it was a really good meal, and the service was attentive and friendly.
