Best Authentic Restaurants in Bishopbriggs

We went to Elena’s with two Spaniards who like good food. They said the food was as good as their favourite restaurants in San Sebastián. Mussels were gorgeous as was the mor Coll o. Service was fab and price of food was great value for money. Definitely most authentic Spanish food in town.

We arrived early (1 hour) for our booking and we were seated without a wait Food was amazing, although too much 😳 Service was great and price overall very reasonable Husband and son had the milkshakes and said they were the best they’d ever had

Visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had to come back to try another item on the menu (chicken mac & cheese waffles). Absolutely amazing!! We had originally booked for outside as that was all that was available, however we received a call around half an hour before our booking to say there was a table available inside, which was ideal! We will be back in the future!

The menu was a celebration of Scotland’s finest ingredients, showcasing local produce and age-old recipes with a contemporary twist. I started with the Cullen skink, a velvety smoked haddock soup that was both comforting and rich in flavour. For the main courses, we had the seafood stew and the venison meatpie; both were excellent. For dessert, the warm orange cake was a delightful finale. It was a true taste of Scottish heritage. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable; their passion for Scottish cuisine shone through every interaction. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Scottish flavours with a touch of modern flair.

Visiting from London for Christmas it was top of our list to try. And let me tell you, first visit to Bucks Bar did not disappoint. Food was fantastic. The chicken wings just fell off the bone. Best we have ever tasted! Service was superb and atmosphere was just perfect! Recommend everyone gets along to BB. You will not be disappointed!
