- CCharlotteHampshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a fantastic experience here, celebrating with friends before Christmas. The staff were incredibly friendly, always quick and ready to help, checking in regularly to ensure everything met our standards. The food was absolutely delicious and definitely value for money, and the mint chocolate at the end was a lovely touch. The room was nicely decorated with music in the background that was not too loud we couldn’t hear each other, but not too quiet we couldn’t hear the songs. This was our first time at the restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be coming back again in the new year!More infoCompass Rose Chinese Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Portsmouth•4.7
- GGinnyDorset •3 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a great table, which I had requested. The staff were very good and the service also good. We all enjoyed the food, I especially enjoyed the Baileys Brûlée 😋 The only slight negative would be the cost of drinks (ie mulled wine £8.50!) but maybe I’m a little out of touch. None of us had been to the George in a very long time but were so impressed we will no doubt be going again soon. Thank you.More infoGeorge InnPrice: Moderate• Pub• Rowland's Castle•4.6
- HHannahWest Sussex •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThree of us came for lunch, place was busy and a little noisy but didn’t both us too much. Food was really lovely. Two of us had the classic bruschetta to start. Delicious so simple and yet packed with flavour. I had a vegetarian pasta with seasonal veg in a creamy sauce! Sublime! Another had the classic lasagna and said how delicious and just melted in the mouth. Beef steak medallions in a peppercorn sauce with fries my mother loved! The fries are crunchy and yet fluffy! For dessert I had the affogato lovely little pudding and my mother had the passionfruit panna cotta. Thoroughly enjoyed. Overall all delicious and look forward to returningMore infoPiccolino - ChichesterPrice: Expensive• Italian• Chichester•4.6
