Best Authentic Restaurants in Mass Ave

The steaks and pork chops that we had were excellent! The room is a bit loud, and the service was a bit slow. Overall, though, it was a good experience with some good food.

Dinner and our tacos were outstanding! Our server, Chelsea was great too!

Was a nice evening and festive before our holiday show. Served was knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. Food was good, drinks as well. Our 3rd visit here and we will return. Only feedback is would be nice to have bread and oil come with and entree order as opposed to a high priced appetizer. For the four of us it didn’t include much bread and for the price point it should have more. Besides that, everything was 5 star!

We ate here on a busy Saturday evening in December and the restaurant was hopping. We had a reservation for 4:45 PM but were unsure if we could get in to eat and out in time to make the Yuletide Show. Not only was the restaurant packed with a waiting line but they were also short-staffed... even worse! Have no fear, Rathskeller while short-staffed, did a wonderful job. We had a fantastic waitress who asked if we were going to a show after dinner. She told us she would have us out in time and she stuck to her word. We were at the show with time to spare. I highly recommend Rathskellar if you have a small or large party holiday, or no holiday. They seem to be prepared for everything.

We were in town with a group of couples for the football game. We found Spoke & Steel while looking through available reservation options for a nice dinner/drinks, within walking distance of our hotel. (Downtown was crazy busy for the game). They did not disappoint! We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. S&S has a great ambiance, OUTSTANDING FOOD, and an amazing staff. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive…we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would all highly recommend…and will plan to return next time we are in Indy!
