Contrary to popular belief, JJ's Restaurant is not named for popular owner Jimmy Frantzé. In 1985, Jimmy purchased JJ Malane's from his former business partner and the saloon's namesake. Malane's went away, but JJ's remained, and a West Plaza fine dining icon was born. The four of us agreed that the meal was one of the best we have ever had! We also had dessert, which was just the right size for two to share. Was quiet enough that we could visit easily with friends. Will definitely fo again!

Still great food and generally good service. Carpaccio is always terrific and was perfect dinner prior to going ballroom dancing! Lots of protein, but sat light on the palate and stomach!

Our server, Chris, was amazingly knowledgeable and attentive. We started with the mussels and french fries for apps, then moved on the surf and turf and pork chop for our entrees. Both were prepared perfectly and delicious. There was only one gluten free desert, so the table split that dessert. It, too, was delicious.
