Best Authentic Restaurants in Lansdale

Wonderful first visit; for brunch. I haven’t enjoyed my first visit to a vineyard venue so much in years. Simple Mediterranean/American dining menu overachieves. In addition to the brunch menu, the full menu is available during brunch with the exception of the “grill” menu. Service is authentic long-time local, warm & enthusiastic. We (party of 4) dined in the fermentation & aging area of the winery and the atmosphere was super enjoyable. We enjoyed 6 wines with brunch - the bubbly sampler plus a flight. Their Petite Syrah (“Bliss”) and their red Bordeaux blend (“Midnight”) are the highlights. We bought a bottle of their carbonated Noiret (“Fiesta”) upon departure, using the 5% discount received earlier that morning for subscribing to their email club - it will be a serviceable sparkling rosè to greet summer with in a few months. I don’t know where they source their brioche but it’s perfect, buttery & fluffy. Protein portions were generous. They definitely consider customer and quality before making “profitability” decisions, so that’s a big guest win and very appreciated. Dessert portions were generous without being too much (especially after the holidays). Recommend highly for brunch with family or friends. Unpretentious, comfortable, fun, delicious - deserving of its “hidden gem” moniker.

Had a wonderful experience at Ooka. Food was presented well and extremely tasty. Our server was excellent, made sure we always had everything we needed and was very pleasant. Atmosphere in the dining room was good and relaxed. Only complaints I had, and these were minor, was the frigid draft that hit us when the doors were open, and there was a pretty constant amount of noise from the hibachi side, but it wasn’t enough to even rate as annoying. Overall we will definitely return

My husband and I went to Firebirds Wood Grill  and had an amazing dinner. It was also my birthday. When my dessert came out, they put a candle in the ice cream. Everyone from the hostess to our waitress was extremely friendly and patient. The only thing is, I wish my loaded baked potato was a little hotter and the cheese was melted on it. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Always an attentive and friendly staff!!!! Great food and of course the margaritas
