Best Authentic Restaurants in Queens Village

We have been to brunch many a time at BC Bistro and love it, but this was our first time there for dinner and on Valentine’s Day! We have heard that on Valentine’s Day many restaurants are overly crowded and rushed along, however, this was not the case at BC Bistro! We were greeted with smiles and met with kindness from all the staff. Our waiter was excellent and let us take our time to enjoy our evening out of dinner and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was wonderful! BC Bistro really made our Valentine’s Day so special! ❤️ We will definitely be coming back soon!

Always leaving King Umberto satisfied. Never disappointed! We have gone as a couple and have also taken the family there. Will make this one of our regular dinner spots. You won't be disappointed!

Good food and nice service for a quick dinner! Reservation was perfect with exact time for table and no waiting at all!

This was not our first visit to Mythos. They were busy but it took a good 10-15 minutes for someone to come by to take our drink order. Additionally, the wait staff does not tell you about off menu offerings unless you specifically ask. The food has always been great but the service, although friendly and polite, needs some polish.

Salvatore’s of Elmont: A True Italian Gem What an incredible experience! Salvatore’s of Elmont is an absolute paradise for Italian food lovers. From start to finish, every dish exceeded my expectations. I began with the Clams Casino and grilled octopus—both were simply divine! The clams were perfectly cooked, with a rich flavor and just the right touch of crispness. The octopus, tender and slightly charred, was a masterpiece of balance between flavors and textures. For the main course, the veal marsala was an absolute dream. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the marsala sauce was perfectly balanced, with a depth of flavor that only top-notch cooking can deliver. The pizza was outstanding, with a thin, crispy crust and toppings so fresh they practically sang. And the garlic knots, which were complimentary, were soft, buttery, and bursting with garlic goodness—an absolute treat! The warm and welcoming atmosphere, paired with exceptional service, made the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Elmont, Salvatore’s is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to return!
