The nicest food fresh and hot and food arrived together. It was clean the staff was the nicest staff you could meet and so helpful polite and all round perfect, I thought it was good value and I will be going time and time again

Absolutely fantastic Valentine's evening meal. Warm welcome followed by exceptional service from all staff throughout the meal, our waiter was incredibly polite and just the right amount of attentive. The food at the Plough was next to none, we visited before for a Sunday roast and I've never had a better roast beef. This visit was no exception, beautifully cooked meat and fish dishes served with fresh seasonal veg and perfectly balanced sauces. The crab cocktail starter was a particular showstopper, and the banana parfait was unique yet delicious. I noticed lots of awards above the cosy fireplace by our table, I was surprised not to see a Michelin! An absolute gem in a rural location, well worth the drive or a taxi home. We will be back again.

We were celebrating our daughter's birthday (as we do every year at S&S). Staff were attentive and everything was explained well. The food was beautifully presented, as always and arrived freshly made for us. The staff then gave my daughter a little birthday cake with candle which was a touching thought. Thank you for helping us keep the tradition alive! Being a Monday Evening it wad a little quiet but the staff had arranged diners well to give the illusion of a busier dining experience.

One of my favourite restaurants ever. Authentically Thai, from the food to the decor. I always go here for special occasions and have never been disappointed
