Pretty chill for a Saturday night. Service took a minute initially but once our server finally showed up everything was good

Celebrating our anniversary and Left bank did not disappoint! Delicious Petrale Sole and Steak Frite for dinner, as well as lobster bisque as a starter. Café Liegeois and chocolate fudge sauce covered Profeteroles-everything was sumptuously delicious!

What a lovely experience. The restaurant is small, intimate, and the chefs and owners do their best to personalize the experience and interact with each diner. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. The food was excellent, of course, but I enjoyed the atmosphere just as much!

Excellent food, quick delivery of food and beverages, and outstanding service

We initially booked a table for two, but two of our colleagues joined us later, making it a party of four. I must say, this place is phenomenal! We got there by 4:30, and the place was already quite crowded. This was my first time visiting, and I actually found out about Jaks through Forbes magazine. The ambiance was fantastic—not like your typical Indian restaurant. It was clean, simple, and very well done. Honestly, you wouldn’t even guess it was an Indian restaurant at first glance because the decor was so modern and upscale. They have a full bar, and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails, which were amazing! We also tried four sharable plates, and every single one was interesting and unique. The chef’s signature dishes, especially the sea bass, lamb shank, and lamb chops, were absolutely stunning. The flavors were so authentic, and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I heard from one of my colleagues that the menu changes every six months, which is pretty exciting. I’m already looking forward to trying their lunch menu next time. Overall, it’s a great place for dining—whether for a casual meal or something special. This was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back soon!
