Best Authentic Restaurants in South Naples

The Real Macaw is a hidden gem in Naples. It has a small intimate tropical atmosphere with many colorful paintings & wicker chairs. The chef provided a real home-cooked Thanksgiving meal with generous servings. Kudos to a wonderful Thanksgiving feast!

I requested inside dining but when they seated us they put us at a table outside right at the edge of the curb of the street. Before even sitting down I mentioned my request but the host said we don’t do requests. I explained again in Italian, and he said, oh ok we can get you inside, just wait 20 minutes and a table will open. Ugh. Other than that the food was incredible, and service was excellent.

Food is always amazing very slow service. The restaurant has no ambience. Portions are sizes are smaller than normal. Paying $37.00 for a filet mignon kebab that was over cooked was not good.

Great food, great service. Excellent sitting options and ambience. I also loved seeing’s their little robot helping with the food deliveries.
