We were on 1526 Sansom St. for 14 years and then moved to 1300 South St. We create gourmet Afghan food that you can find in Afghanistan or here at our Philadelphia location. We have mouthwatering flavors starting from our bread to our kabobs. Our bread's recipe and technique have been passed down from the founder's great-great-grandfather, who owned an array of bakeries and managed many restaurants in Kabul. Passed through generations to our chef, who brought delicious meals to 15th and Sansom of Philadelphia.     I went to La Fontana Della Citta for lunch today and what an experience! Our server Ona recommended the calamari for an appetizer and we were so impressed. The sprinkled feta cheese was a nice touch. Our main entrees blew us away too, no complaints. The star of the show was the service! Ona was there to answer any questions we had about the menu and check up on us throughout our meal. There was never a time we needed her where she wasnt there! Exceptional service, we can not say enough good things about her! I will be taking all of my friends and family to this restaurant and asking for Ona every time!

    Went with my son after the SB Parade which was Valentine's Day. I should have realized it was a pre-fix menu which I am not a fan. However, the black linguini with scallops and shrimp was tasty and my son enjoyed the striped bass. I would definitely try it again when there is no pre-fix menu.

    I can’t even begin to tell you me and my husband dining experience. From the time we walked in the door to our exit. Service was top tier. It was my bday. Everything we ordered was soooo good.. my favorite is the Gnocchi La Sera… Omgg!! Me and hubby have already deemed this our new date night spot… it’s BYOB but the ambiance is everything.. loved it we talked about it all night on the way home..
