The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. Today, the Grain House is a renowned restaurant in North/Central New Jersey, with a comfortable, casual ambiance. First time there, had their Thanksgiving Buffet. Pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food. The roast beef was cooked just right, turkey was juicy and plenty of sides and desserts. We will go back.

We had a wonder first time at tap and bitter. It was a quiet Sunday but the staff checked in on us throughout our dinner. We always had water and didn’t feel rushed and they gave us time in between courses to relax and enjoy each other company
