- MMcKenzieVIPUtah •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have always enjoyed lunch at Apex. Multiple year visitors. Clearly the front of the house was overwhelmed today. They were not very kind or understanding, not only to my family, but to many other guests. Opposite feeling that we received at the Veuve yurt.More infoApex at Montage Deer ValleyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Park City•4.7
- SSuzanneVIPPhoenix / Arizona •33 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOverall the experience was terrific. A couple of things to note. First there is a “21+” area which is upstairs and has a distinctly sophisticated feel to it. The downstairs is more geared to families. Next the food was outstanding. We had a trio of dips with pita the crab meatballs for an appetizer and we all decided on the salmon and a side of mushrooms. The portions are on the larger side so we had plenty even though we shared. The majority of the servers were attentive and friendly. We ate in a leisurely pace and we did not feel rushed. Having said this, if I had to rate this restaurant exclusively on service I would rate it a 2 or 3. Our waiter came to take our order and explained the specials and the favorites. We put in our entrees and were about to ask for drinks but our server took off to help another table. We had to flag him down to order our drinks about 5 min later. He returned with the drinks and then apologized that the sea bass special was sold out—even though it was 5:45 pm. We ordered the salmon instead. Our appetizer had generous portions of dip but only came with a few pieces of pita for dipping. We asked a server took off get us more which they did but our server was nowhere to be seen. He did not check on us during the meal to see if we needed anything or refill our waters. At the end of our meal we were given the wrong check. For an upscale place we were surprised.More infoKaneoPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Park City•4.1
- DDavidVIPUtah •66 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI took my wife and daughter to eat the day after Christmas. My wife and I always go in December to see the decorations and walk around after dinner. The swan was out in the upper pond. I enjoyed the fresh oysters. I really enjoyed the bouillabaisse, my wife the salmon, and our daughter the filet mignon very rare (blue). The sides were delightful. We couldn't resist the flourless chocolate cake and the chef specially prepared coconut sorbet. They accommodated the two gluten free ladies and one milk free. The service was also wonderful, cheerful and attentive. Meg made sure we were happy and well taken care of. The manager also visited us and wished us a merry Christmas. The valet gave us extra time to walk the grounds and see the lights and decorations before delivering our car without us even asking. We love going in the Christmas season.More infoLa Caille RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Holladay / Midvale / Sandy / Union•4.3
- SSarahVIPGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024My husband and I agree, the service at Goldener Hirsch was out of this world. The servers were attentive and helpful with recommendations. They made conversation and called us by our names for the full duration of the meal. At the price point it is to be expected, but at the same time it’s where other similar places fall short. We’re so glad we were able to go to dinner here. The food was awesome, we had the roasted vegetables, French onion soup, and split the rack of lamb. While I didn’t love the soup, the lamb was out of this world fantastic. Also, while a little more expensive at $160 (if I recall correctly), the portion size was huge. My husband is a big eater, so while it was great for two of us I think it could probably feed three or four as long as they aren’t ravenously hungry. We will definitely be back!More infoGoldener HirschPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Park City•4.4
