- KKrystaTampa / Central Florida West •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWent for brunch and had quite possibly some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. Already planning to go back next month for a special occasion. The oeufs coquette was outstanding!!More infoCoquette - Uptown CharlottePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.7
- CCalebCharlotte •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe decided to do Valentines a day later since we had to work on actual Valentine’s Day. We booked for a 4:30 reservation (the latest they had until 8pm. Which was totally fine. We arrived at 4:20 and had our car valeted since there isn’t street parking. Walked in, were greeted right away- seated and within two minutes our server greeted us with water. He took our cocktail order then told us about their Rendezvous for Two deal, which included an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $55. Our drinks arrived quickly and the app followed within a couple of minutes. We did the Pimento Cheese Dip which was great. Then I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife did the Salmon with Creamy Quinoa. Both portions were great (so much so that I couldn’t finish all mine). We got our dessert to go since we were both stuffed from the large portions. We got the Pecan Pie and oh my goodness it was delicious. Our server was great and super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!More infoTupelo Honey - Uptown CharlottePrice: Moderate• American• Uptown•4.4
- SScottRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.More infoLa Belle HelenePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.6
- MMimiSan Diego •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOutstanding service! Thanks to Joel. Food was very good. A few things would have made it great. Love salt but heavy handed on the oysters. The bruschetta was fantastic, but would have been spectacular if the bread had been fully toasted. Mushy on the bottom. The tomatoes on it were spectacular as was the olive oil powder. We had a good, crisp Cesar salad and shared the Cacio Pepe. We thought the sauce was perfect. Light and peppery but not stodgy. We didn’t care for the pasta, which was more like a heavy gnocchi. So much so that we asked if we had gotten the dish we ordered. Loved the feel of the place. The lights and open kitchen were fun. A big comfortable booths were nice. The wine pours were exceptional and the prices excellent. Very good value. Not noisy and very enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip!More infoAngeline'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Uptown•4.5
- AAryelCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoMariposa at the Mint was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday! The atmosphere was beautiful, creating a warm and inviting experience. Our server, Rebecca, was absolutely phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and eager to make our evening special. She even took pictures for us and provided excellent food and drink recommendations. Even on a quieter Tuesday evening, the service was top-notch. I can’t wait to come back and try their brunch!More infoMariposaPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Uptown•4.5
