The Countryman Inn is an absolute gem and a must-visit if you’re in Dorset. In my opinion, they serve the best carvery in the county—the meat is always tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked. The quality and variety are exceptional, and it’s fantastic value for money. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into this place. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed the Cote breakfast on New Year’s Day. Excellent food, very pleasant and efficient staff - just a little noisy. This is as a result of sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. We recently attended similar restaurants that have installed ceiling baffles that improved the noise significantly.

Amazing atmosphere with first class entertainment Staff were very welcoming and attentive and made us feel extra special as they helped us celebrate our anniversary Good choice of food and reasonable priced. We would like to thank everyone at the Spice Ship Weymouth for such an amazing Christmas Day meal. It was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The pub itself was decorated like something out of a fairytale! We are going to book again for next year! Can’t wait!
