Chef-driven, artisan Italian nestled in the heart of iconic Larimer Square. Osteria Marco is fine dining quality in a casual setting. We believe in craftsmanship and artistry—pizzas hand tossed to order, pasta hand rolled daily, cheese (like our famous burrata) and salumi crafted on site. Bartenders muddle and infuse; wines evolve to reflect the variety of the Italian countryside and climate. Descend the grand staircase, hunker down and, really... try the burrata. Located within Denver’s historic Tramway Building, originally opened in 1911, The Nickel pays homage to the space that was once used to collect fare from customers riding its resident streetcars: a nickel. Just as the building in which The Nickel is housed has a storied past, the dishes found on the menu at The Nickel all have a story. We proudly serve menus that incorporate the highest quality ingredients from farmers, ranchers, distillers and craft producers, and is comprised of dishes that are easily recognizable and feel simple, but eat complex.

This is a great italian place, with excellent food and wine. It is also very gluten friendly - gluten free bread options, crust for pizza and pasta. There is only one pizza that is not gluten free because of the béchamel sauce. The servers are knowledgeable about both the food and wine. I highly recommend this place for any occasion, especially if you are headed to a show at DCPA! Make sure you grab a reservation if you need to be somewhere at a specific time as they are always busy!

I wish I could leave more stars for this place. Tonight’s experience was one of THE BEST dining experiences I’ve ever had. This is not my first time eating at a Michelin starred restaurant but this is absolutely one that deserves its star and I will be coming back. The food was so amazing and thoughtful - the way they designed each dish to focus on a particular theme all while minimizing food waste was incredible. The staff was so well informed and truly took us on a culinary journey with so much enthusiasm it made us giddy to try each bite. Seriously, such an amazing time and well worth the money. 100/10 bravo!!

The staff went out of their way to make us feel extremely welcome and invited us back to their reopening after remodel. If you have a chance to grab their brunch before they close for remodel, do so! Manny was a tremendous server. Seek him out if you can.
