- BBrianDunbartonshire/Renfrewshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoHave been to the sugar boat a couple of times and always enjoyed the homemade feel and authenticity of the food. The staff were very friendly and the food this time was generally really good. I was just a bit disappointed with the homemade burger, it was very dence, dry and seemed over cooked, seemed to have no moisture in it at all, could be the fat to meat content in the mince used, if it’s homemade could you offer to cook it slightly under, so much so I only ate a bit of it! I had the scollops from the specials menu as a starter these were very tasty, and my friend also had humounus and sourdough which he enjoyed a lot and he went on to have fish and chips which he thought was very good. Will not put me of going again, but would put me off having the burger again!More infoSugar BoatPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Helensburgh•4.4
- HHeatherGlasgow/Lanarkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI've eaten at Ardnamurchan before and it was just lovely. Glad to go back again. It's a bit of a treat as I'm on a limited budget, but it was well worth it. As a vegetarian, there were some dishes I'd never tried, which is always a treat. For starter I had wild mushroom parfait which was as smooth and tasty as anything. I then had roasted celeriac with chestnuts and it was simply divine. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and very friendly and really efficient. Can't recommend Ardnamurchan highly enough.More infoArdnamurchanPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Glasgow•4.7
- KKathrynLincolnshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe service was very fast with our feeling rushed, the staff were very friendly and definitely on it. The food was amazing and was definitely worth the money! I would most definitely eat here again. The venue was very beautiful and I just want to say the female toilets! I’ve never seen anything like them! As soon as you walk in you’re welcomed with a really nice floral smell and each toilet cubical has its own sink. No complaints at all!More infoThe Ivy Buchanan Street GlasgowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Glasgow•4.5
