Best Brunch Restaurants in East Brunswick

We had a Christmas party for family. Had a very nice time and the food was very good.

I have been going to Sophie’s for literally 20 years for special occasions. The food is consistently amazing, the servers are experienced and attentive, and the atmosphere is comfortable and beautiful. The owner, Peter, is amazing and friendly and often enhances the experience of eating here by stopping at the tables and chatting up the guests and offering a taste of his delicious liquor (I don’t know if he makes it or what but it’s amazing). Love this place and can’t say enough good things about it.

Celebrating a milestone birthday here was definitely the right choice. Everything was sensational! Their presentation and service were top notch. They did not miss a beat and surprised me with a signed birthday card, birthday song along with flare. Truthfully made me feel like a kid again!!! Loved the tableside bacon torching and diverse menu offerings. Would highly recommend spending your special evening there as well. High end feel and down to earth hospitality, a fabulous combination.

The food and atmosphere were outstanding! Creative and delicious combinations of flavors. Kielbasa appetizer was a winner as was the octopus. Scallops, salmon, and suckling pig entrees were all well prepared and beautifully presented. Cocktails were on the weak side but the cappuccino was excellent.

First time at Harvest Moon. We knew it was a college hangout since it’s right by Rutgers. Nice selection of cocktails and beer. Food is great but like everywhere it’s pricey. We spent over $100 for 3 drinks, 1 app, 2 burgers, and 1 “small plate”. Also had to pay for parking. Service was quick and friendly. We finished eating just before the late night rush arrived…at which point getting to the ladies room was an adventure! Overall we enjoyed our experience and would visit again when in the area.
