The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. We love the Inn! We've never had a mediocre meal there. But last night, we walked over in the snow for Lobster Fest, and it was amazing! Although diners wouldn't know it if not relevant to one's diet, each of the 4 courses was gluten-free! Truly, delicious gluten-free food is so appreciated. Last night was wonderful---food, service, friendly staff, and a beautiful view of the snow. Thanks!

The dinner at the Lexington was great from the valet parking to the Key Lime pie. Our waiter Adam and his assistants Shaun and Sophia very knowledgeable with just the right amount of attention to detail. The filet mignon steaks were grilled to perfection and the asparagus was very tasty. We look forward to our next visit.

Never had a bad meal at the Downtowner. The food is always excellent, whether you order one of their steaks, pasta, pizza, or anything else, and the prices are very reasonable. The wait staff are kind, efficient, and very helpful. It's a great place to go before a hockey game at the Xcel, or just for a good meal.

From drinks to dessert our food and drinks were outstanding. Service was exception and we really appreciated that our server allowed us to sample the wine before we ordered a glass. She also surprised us with a birthday candle with the dessert we ordered and a gift code for the picture booth! Again, she made it an exceptional experience for all four of us! We will definetly be back.
