Executive Chef Scott Anderson chose the name "elements" for the restaurant because he is passionate about sourcing fresh, local, organic ingredients and sustainably raised meats and seafood. He wants the very elements of your meal to play a major role in the taste of it. Then he and his team work to reveal the complementary flavor dimensions inherent in the elements by skillfully combining them—often in edgy new ways. Restaurant menus change constantly here, making this the dinner restaurant that is excitingly different every time you return. If you're a foodie, you want to know where—and how--your food grew. It's fascinating, it's a good health practice and it provides extra pleasure from everyday experiences, like a meal with friends. elements is the American restaurant serving local steak and seafood, but with global influences in seasoning and cooking methods. A true culinary adventure!

Reservations were easy to make on Open Table, thank you to the hostess that was able to push back reservations back by 30 minutes when I called last week. It made the day stress free. Easy parking. very cosmopolitan interior and non pretentious high quality drinks and food. I hate Caesar salad, but loved this one. Lambchops very tasty. Bacon appetizer was a great delicious table add on. Ice cream slider and frosty cheesecake so worth the calories. Managers Josh and Bechir came to check on each and every table. Charlene, our server, kept the food and drinks flowing without us feeling rushed, followed up with us without hovering...just made our experience even better.

We made reservations at Rats for Christmas Eve over a month ago with the understanding that it would be their dinner menu as it was advertised on their website as “Menu for the night includes our full menu”. We were surprised that the menu was actually their lunch menu so we ended up trying to order different things to make it our “dinner.” The food was good, nothing special, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. If I knew it was only going to be the lunch menu, we would have dined somewhere else to celebrate Christmas Eve.

Good spot for brunch in New Brunswick - service was great: attentive but allowed us to sit and visit without chasing us out. Creative menu. Recommend the smoked salmon starter and the duck (which I got topped on the kale salad) was yummy.

Pre theater lunch was excellent. It was very busy so a tad noisier than regularly, but staff did everything right in providing good space between large groups when possible. This is a beautiful spot on the river and so close to BCPH.
