Two from our party enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Perfectly fried with an amazing twist in the Texas Pete Maple Syrup. Another had the short rib strata which was tasty and unique. I had the Christmas Special Benedict which was smoked salmon based and very delicious. Signature cocktail hits were the Gamekeeper, Campfire Manhattan, French Old Fashioned, and the Espresso Martini. Keeping with the toasted marshmallow theme, we had the Bitter Chocolate Pot de Creme as a final touch that was a compact sweet treat.More infoKatharine Brasserie & BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Winston-Salem•4.7

- OTOpenTable DinerDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Green Valley Grill is just wonderful! We stopped by on our way back to Durham after visiting the Christmas light show at Kersey Valley Farms. I had been wanting to take my husband there after eating lunch with friends on a Greensboro day trip. The food did not disappoint, and the cocktails were some of the best we've ever had. We enjoyed a selection of small plates, and the crab-spinach dip was especially good, with the lovely sharp cheese balancing the slightly sweet crab and fresh spinach. The only hitch is that it was VERY BUSY when we arrived, and we were seated in a remote corner of the bar instead of the main dining room, despite having reservations. No biggie, I've worked in the food industry, so I get it. Our server overlooked us for about 15 minutes, and we got pretty hungry. So, my husband spoke briefly to the GM about getting some food, and then they overwhelmed us with attention and gave us one of the small plates at no charge. This is how you turn customers into loyal patrons. We would drive to Greensboro just to have dinner here -- it's that good!More infoGreen Valley GrillPrice: Expensive• European• Greensboro•4.8
