Best Brunch Restaurants in Isle Of Bute

This is my favourite steak restaurant in Glasgow and hence why once again I chose it for my Birthday lunch with family. My wife had obviously told them that it was my birthday so there was a birthday card on the table..a nice touch. Anyway starters were excellent with the pork cheek and tiger prawn being superb. I had had the philly cheese steak spring rolls previously and knew these were really filling however my son had these and they looked superb. We all had fillet steaks cooked to either medium rare or medium and all were cooked to perfection. Accompanied by hand cut chips we also had sides of onion rings, rocket and parmesan, mac and cheese and glazed carrots and by the end we were all full although I did not have a dessert my wife and future daughter in law did and they looked brilliant. Absolutely loved this place! Food was unreal, the garlic bread and sauce was amazing and bottomless! Aswell as the chips! Chicken and steak were both cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor! Staff were very friendly and helpful and kept checking to see if everything was okay and if we wanted extra chips or garlic bread or drinks etc. highly recommend to anyone looking for good food at great value for money!

My parents were celebrating their 60th anniversary on Valentine's Day and the Hawksmoor Team made it memorable. The vibe, energy and experience for me is as important as the food and the team are central to this. They were incredibly attentive, thoughtful and helpful which added so much to the experience. And of course the food was 11/10 Keep doing what you're doing Team Hawksmoor - the Dublin restaurant scene is better for it! Gavin

Absolutely incredible, every aspect, from the wonderful service and help wading through the wine list, to the ambiance and watching the fresh pasta being made, to the myriad of delicious dishes, everything was thought out so perfectly! The pumpkin agnolotti with sage butter and hazelnuts was a showstopper, so rich and smooth, every bite I took was followed by a smile. Also the bread and olive oil was divine, in addition to the suppli. All complimented so perfectly by the wine, it was a terrific experience :)

Good food, piping hot and served quickly. Reasonable prices. Also, the toilets (gents) were clean and tidy—always a sign of a well-managed restaurant. I am sure the ladies toilet was the same, but I didn't see them.
