Best Casual Restaurants in Bloomingdale

It was very busy so thank goodness we had a reservation. I recommend always making a reservation anyway. I had the parmesan crusted mahi mahi and my friend had a cheeseburger. We both thought our meals were delicious. Between that and the pretzel bread that is served complimentary, we were so full afterward. We also got a bottle of the rhubarb wine to share. It has a unique flavor. It's a sweet wine but not overly sweet. I felt it was a perfect accompaniment to my mahi mahi. The noise level was higher than usual due to the large crowd but overall it was a very pleasant evening.

We had two different servers, each attentive and very good at recommending their favorites from the menu. They respected that we were on a first date and didn’t rush us through the meal. The food was very good and all in all we had a lovely night there I would totally return. Could be for a casual date or for something special.

Went for Christmas Eve. First time ever dining there. Menu was great. Appetizers were excellent. Great baked clams and the best fried calamari and shrimp with spectacular cocktail sauce. Margarita pizza was perfect. Strongly recommend the Zuppa do pesce. Sauce a bit of the thicker side than what I’m used to. But great flavor and generous amount of seafood. Excellent cannoli and gelato too. Our server was very attentive. Can’t wait to go back to try more entrees.

Everything was great, as usual, but service from the kitchen was a little slower than anticipated. However, this was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was very busy.

We had a group of four, one gluten free… our server immediately brought a gf menu and gf bread along with their delicious warm pretzel bread. Our appetizer of lettuce wraps was delicious and our meals were all hot and prepared perfectly.
