- MMarkBrisbane •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have eaten at Tai Tai many times now. It has always been very good and this time no exception. The food amazing, the staff were on point, friendly and funny, and our overall experience was A1. We took some friends that hadn’t eaten there before and they said, omg why haven’t we been here. Excellent as always Tai Tai.More infoTai TaiPrice: Expensive• Chinese• South Brisbane•4.6
- GGrantBrisbane •1 review5.0Dined on 14 Feb 2025Went out Valentines day. They were SO BUSY, yet the food arrived within a decent time, and the service was attentive. We don't eat out at semi-expensive places often, and this was a reminder that the food is SO MUCH BETTER. Wife tried something she never had before and was gushing over it. Ambience was great, lots of greenery, subtle Italian music in the background, and even though it was packed, we could talk in normal voices. Highly recommended. The whole meal (plus rose, as I am a softy) came in at $250 which included a couple of drinks each. Absolutely worth every cent, which comes from someone who isn't exactly flush with cash.More infoOlive and AngeloPrice: Expensive• Italian• Brisbane CBD•4.3
- AAnitaBrisbane •1 review5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Christmas Lunch was outstanding. I would be confident booking this venue for events because they clearly demonstrated their ability to manage and cater to a large crowd. I would expect their day-to-day operations to also be as efficient and good value as their events. Staff were pleasant, helpful and there were plenty of people to call on if assistance or service was required. The decor was attractive, the layout of the area easy to navigate and the noise level even with a large attendance was very comfortable. There were a few small issues, such as a slow-draining sink in the toilets, but sometimes an older building has these kinds of challenges. Speaking specifically of the food in the Christmas Day buffet, the seafood was absolutely fresh and of good quality, trays of hot food were replenished regularly and the dessert display was absolutely delightful. There was an impressive range of food available and it was plentiful. Everything was well labelled. The large group was managed well with no long hold-ups or bottlenecks. The atmosphere was subtly festive without being over the top. Overall my group had a great experience and I would not hesitate to attend another function at Hotel West End. If I lived more locally, I would also be happy to visit on regular days.More infoHotel West EndPrice: Moderate• Bistro• South Bank•4.3

- OTOpenTable DinerBrisbane •1 review5.0Dined on 3 Jun 2024We went there to celebrate our friend's birthday around 7 pm. The staff were super nice and friendly. I'm a vegetarian, and they tried to fulfil my requirements as I wanted the rice bowl without salmon. The food was so good; we loved the tacos so much. The turmeric and coconut rice was the best! We will definitely come back!More infoCheeky Poke Bar - West EndPrice: Moderate• Hawaiian• West End•4.1
