Best Casual Restaurants in Carol Stream

Excellent experience! Sat at a high top in upstairs bar. Our server Carl was extremely attentive and allowed us to relax with our wine. Our meal was fantastic, parm crusted mahi and chairasco steak. Love this location for their friendliness and consistent servers and meals.

The food is incredible every time I’ve been. We were celebrating a birthday and a bit disappointed when our server brought our check before asking if we wanted anything else. It wasn’t busy so we were a bit confused.

Lovely space, was still decorated for holidays when we went just after Christmas. Lovely sparkling Christmas Tree lights at each table. Love the backlit wine list and menu make them easy to read in this somewhat dark restaurant. Ribs are fantastic and makes it hard to try something new but two in our party had the salmon and pork chop—both quite good. Owner Dick always stops by to welcome you. Service was good. It was louder than normal with a completely full house during the holidays but normally noise is not bad. Great place, cozy feel.

We had a group of four, one gluten free… our server immediately brought a gf menu and gf bread along with their delicious warm pretzel bread. Our appetizer of lettuce wraps was delicious and our meals were all hot and prepared perfectly.

The food was phenomenal, the staff are super kind, and the environment is just great. Loved it.
