General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. Rasa provides a top-notch dining experience with its superb food and remarkable cocktails. Sitting at the bar, we enjoyed well-crafted drinks while James, significantly enhanced our experience. Jen Agg has done it again - this restaurant might be her best yet. Absolutely a delight to dine there. The decor is warm and in her signature style and the food — THE FOOD!! Amazingly delicious and unique in their own “English gastro pub” homage. We all ordered different things and everyone was pleased with their dishes. The cocktails - on point. Can’t wait to come back!

It’s always a treat to eat at Levant. The hummus is so creamy and delicious. The side arugula salad was a lovely surprise. I was expecting a simple bowl of arugula in a light vinaigrette, but it came topped with goat cheese, grilled cauliflower and pita chips with a tasty dressing. Fantastic! But it’s the (not pizza) that keep us coming back! We love all the flavors, and always order extra for reheating at home the next day.
