Best Casual Restaurants in Gold Coast / Streeterville

Everything fine except for horrifyingly dirty glass of water delivered to table. Daughter actually drank from it before discovering how dirty glass was . So surprising and disgusting. Food was decent but not the best we’ve had at NoMi. French fries rather tasteless. Burger good. Fennel in salad was odd choice. We were hoping for a creme brûlée on dessert menu, alas, there was none.

This place is definitely worth the hype. Went on a Saturday night, and at first I was worried because of how crowded it was and how loud it was. My worries were unfounded - the service was speedy and accurate, the entrees had a very reasonable portion size, and all the food was delicious. While it was a little difficult to hear conversation at my immediate table, the high energy and kindness of the wait staff was enough to make this a very pleasurable dining experience.

Had the spicy chicken sandwich which had just the right amount of spice. Fries looked handcut and were perfectly cut Had the internal affair- highly recommend. It was delicious. Had the guacamole with sweet potato chips as an appetizer which was tasty. Shared the cinnamon toast crunch cheesecake for dessert. This was also delicious. Overall, great meal. Had reservations during a busy weekend and was seated within a few minutes of arrival.

Food excellent as always, and our server was very helpful. The turkey French dip, my go to sandwich, was delicious. Great take on a classic. It can get a bit loud at lunchtime.

Excellent experience for 7 friends. Food and service were perfect.
