A lovely and very innovative dining experience. We ate there pre-opera and had a wonderful time.

One of those dining experiences where you think "why have I not been here sooner?" We came for lunch could not have been more pleased. Started with empanadas, then shared the Havana Salad and fried chicken sandwich, all of which is superb. A neighboring table ordered the fried chicken, which had us both looking forward to our next visit. Chao Pascao is a gem!

Nakama is great. Food service are constantly consistent. The staff so friendly and helpful with suggestions on sake and sushi options.

Four stars very good fits perfectly for Teakwood. We've been Burma Love fans for years and Teakwood is a welcome addition to the Hayes Valley pre-event scene. Our server was very sweet, and while service overall was a bit disjointed, it was understandable. They handled the pre-theater rush well. The atmosphere is bright and lovely and the food was very good.

Delicious rolls. We ordered successively, not all at once. Our waitperson was very accommodating. The Shitake Manhattans were fantastic. Thank you for a most enjoyable meal.
