Best Casual Restaurants in Stevenage

Fantastic lunch with my sister who'd come up from Sussex for the day. Welcomed on arrival and allowed to chose a table. Prompt, polite service, food and drinks came very quickly. Excellent fish and chips, couldn't manage a pudding, but they all sounded nice. Would highly recommend this pub, they've got it so right, well done to all concerned, we'll be back.

Seating was perfect. It was busy but there was no waiting to order. The food was delicious the meat in the shepherds pie was quality. My fellow diners had the steak and chicken burger and all said was perfect . Really great atmosphere and lots of happy people .

2nd time I ate at the Tapas for lunch & been very impressed with the service & specially the food - we had 4 rounds of tapas which basically covered the menu. Loved the hop beer 🍺 will go again soon

food was very tasty. all 5 diners enjoyed what they ordered. Staff helpful and attentive. Nice atmosphere

Always good, always good value. The only problem is trying to understand the complexities of the lunchtime menus and the various pricing options.
