Best Casual Restaurants in Melbourne

This is a gem in the local community. We’ve been coming here for years. Great food and excellent menu. The skewers are the best as are most things on the menu.

I have been wanting to go here for years and finally got there today. The great reviews were all true. We had a party of five for a special occasion and they put us in our own little room looking out onto the water. The escargot was served on puff pastry with the signature dog bone cut out of the pastry. Delicious. Everyone’s entrée was wonderful and the waiter Leo was exceptionally good. We did not have dessert as that was going to happen at home, but we will definitely be back to eat there again and definitely have dessert. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing meal that we are all still talking about! The catch of the day is so fresh and changed frequently. Get the onion crusted option, and the fried spinach!

We were visiting with friends from out of town for a weekend in Melbourne Beach. We gathered here for dinner not once but twice. We enjoyed the food and our server Jamie was outstanding, friendly and well we learned she was also a jersey shore town girl originally too! Ocean 302 has a nice upscale menu, craft beers and specialty cocktails. Brussels sprouts app and sticky duck apps were wonderful. Skirt steak was delicious and the scallop with grits was amazing. If visiting, definitely worth checking it out.

We had a great time! We booked for a sunset and the sky was beautiful! Food was great and our server was adorable. Made the birthday we were celebrating special!
