Best Casual Restaurants in Sorrento Valley

The food is so good and the view is fantastic. The valet with the red shoes is so friendlly. He and some of the other staff always remember us and make us feel so welcome.

We dine at Jake’s often, so decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here for lunch. The fish special was tasty, and the fish and chips the best I’ve had at Jake’s. The staff welcomed us to a table reserved for especially for us and our anniversary. We enjoyed the booth and sea views while sipping sangria. We were given free choice of a dessert on the house, so we picked the Hula pie of course! Thank you Jake’s for making our day special.

Wow! Such an Amazing meal. Everything was so delicious. Hands down one of the most memorable experiences. The service is top notch. We had the best service provided by Miranda. She is absolutely the best! Our meal was delicious. The NY steak was cooked to perfection as well as the veal chop. Highly recommend coming. We will definitely be back.

We love coming to the Brigantine. We are greeted warmly by the staff (even the parking attendant) each time we go. Our table positioned us to look over the Del Mar area with a wide view. It was beautiful. I ordered the lobster tacos and they were wonderful. Chunks of lobster inside a yummy coating and placed in blue corn tortillas along with some fresh, sliced vegetables. On the side, a few french fries, and then some fresh, lightly cooked green beans and pretty little carrots. Loved my meal. Daughter had fish and vegetables, husband had fish and chips, and we were all happy with what we ordered and too stuffed to share a dessert. We were well taken care of even though it was really busy when we got there. This is a tried and true restaurant and we will return soon.

It can get busy, best way to make sure you get a table is to make a reservation. Ordered a few things to try, Lomo Saltado, Macho, Beet Salad and a Ceviche Mixto. The ceviche was great probably a tad bit more salt and it would've been perfect Beet salad... Beets.. The Lomo was a tad salty for me but the meat was very tender and a good size portion of food. Macho was my favorite a good variety of seafood and lots of flavor.
