We normally love North Italia. They put us in a back room where there were several parties celebrating birthdays and such so it was very, very loud but like I said not our typical experience. We had a reservation, so I felt like more consideration in seat selection could have taken place, but otherwise, food & service were great.

Nestled in the heart of Market Street, Schilleci’s serves up an authentic from scratch Cajun food that’s hard to find outside Louisiana. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere transports you to the Louisiana bayou, with its rustic decor, soft jazz playing in the background, and the spicy, savory aroma of Cajun spices wafting through the air. The menu is a tribute to traditional Cajun flavors, featuring everything from jambalaya to crawfish étouffée, and each dish seems to carry a story. The gumbo, packed with sausage, shrimp, and tender chicken, is rich and smoky, with just the right amount of spice. It’s one of those dishes that wraps you in comfort with every bite. Their shrimp étouffée is a must-try, loaded with plump shrimp and served over fluffy rice that soaks up the decadent sauce beautifully. For those looking for a kick, the creole and aged ribeye to perfection didn’t disappoint— it’s a flavor bomb of bold spices, perfectly balanced. And if you’re a fan of po’boys, don’t miss out on their shrimp po’boy: fried to golden perfection and nestled in a fresh, soft baguette with a zesty sauce. Start to finish Morton’s is a wonderful experience. From the hostess to Julianna taking care of us at the table. The crab cakes were luscious, the shrimp were succulent and the steaks were perfect. Don’t miss the coconut cream pie.

The food here is amazing and the service even better. We had at least 3 service professionals making sure our experience was great, and the main server was excellent. The say “absolutely ! “ or “of course” with every request, and were very knowledgeable about the menu. We did the ahi tuna appetizers and the burrata with bacon jam. Both were great ! Hubbie got the Bosscat Burger and I got the whitefish with mushroom risotto. Both were wonderful and the risotto was so rich and buttery I had to take half home. Fries with the burger were just right, crispy and seasoned on the outside and yummy soft on the inside. Overall, excellent job Bosscat. Wish we had one in Austin !

Sushi was absolutely amazing and also the salmon big plate. Service was top notch and will definitely visit again soon!
