Acova is writing the next chapter of one of Denver’s great neighborhoods. An iconic locale in a historic district, Acova builds on the rich story of “The Northside” (now known as LoHi) by breathing new life into an address with soul. Even its name pays homage to its South Broadway sibling restaurant The Hornet, while tipping a cap to its storied Italian predecessor Patsy’s. The place you bring friends and family from out of town to show them what Denver’s all about. The place you go for that after work cocktail, or your go to date spot, whether it’s your first or 50th date. The place you get the group together on a Saturday night, and where you recover together on a Sunday morning. Acova is the next Highlands institution, bearing vintage flair and contemporary charm that threads the past into the future. Acova brings you back time and again because you are part of this story now, and Acova is part of yours.

Fox and The Hen is inspired by a love of all things breakfast aka #MorningStuff. Here, we believe all the best things happen in the morning: sunrises, coffee drinks, small breakfast burritos tucked in large breakfast burritos and walks of shame. Born out of Carrie Baird and Michael Fox’s true love for classic American breakfast served with lighthearted twists and an equal passion of all things boozy-brunch-drinks, Fox & The Hen is your new LoHi all-day breakfast concept. Our focus is bringing friends and family together, incredibly delicious (and fun!) food, creative beverages and having everyone who leaves the Fox & the Hen feel their day is better than when they came in.We do not seat incomplete parties, sorry.

Located beside Curiel’s first solo restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina, Mezcaleria Alma marks the natural next chapter in Curiel’s culinary journey to share the beauty of Mexico through food. Each dish and drink draws from Curiel’s experiences in one of the world’s most renowned culinary capitals—a city where culture and tradition merge with global inspiration and constant innovation. Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more. We have been to Alma Fonda Fina and fell in love with their food, so we thought we'd give their Mezcaleria Alma a try. Every dish we ordered was absolutely fantastic, unique, and honestly a work of art. The service is incredible and the ambience feels authentic to Mexico City. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone, as it is our new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood!

Being seated next to the fireplace in the main dining room on a cold, snowy day is always enjoyable. West 29th reminds so much of cozy country inns in Europe. Adan and the remainder of the small wait staff were delightful, attentive and responsive, even when things got busy. They covered for each other very well. Unlike the other times we have dined there, the food was not outstanding. The Caesar Salad was very mildly seasoned, without that little garlicky kick we've come to expect. We did appreciate that the kitchen split it for usl The salmon was cooked well-done as my spouse prefers and the smally potatoes, that accompanied it, actually tasted sweet. Unfortunately, the Gorgonzola Beef Stroganoff was a flop for me. The dish I"ve enjoyed so many times is supposed to be a dish with tender pieces of meat, accompanied by noodles in a flavorful sauce...NOT a pasta dish in a creamy cheese sauce with half a dozen little chunks of tough beef, hidden under the noodles. Maybe the plentiful and very tasty mushrooms were suppose to make up for the lack and toughness of the meat, but that didn't work for me First really disappointing dish we've had there. We'll surely return, but will more wary when ordering.

Stellar meal from start to finish! The boys running the floor were super knowledgeable about each dish presented and seemed excited about their job when it came to both food and drinks. My friend and I asked for them to surprise us with some favorite drinks and they definitely hit the nail on the head. We couldn’t decide what our favorite part of the meal was. I am excited to be back and show others this amazing restaurant. Kudos to the chef and all staff on deck!
